Wednesday, January 13th, 6pm @Ironclad Brewery:  New Year's Celebration and board elections.  We will be celebrating our past year, ringing in the new, having some brews, light refreshments, screening some films and electing a new board.  Perfect way to kick off the new year.

Tuesday, January 19th, 6:30pm @Kure Beach Town Hall (17 Settlers Lane, Kure Beach):
Kure Beach will be voting on resolution to oppose offshore drilling and seismic testing. Come on out, wear blue and support the vote.

Saturday, January 30th, 10am @Tennessee Ave Public Beach Access in CB: Cape Fear Surfrider Foundation will coordinate with the Town of Carolina Beach to partake in a dune re-building program using recycled Christmas trees.  This yearly project helps to rebuild natural habitat, protect ocean front property, and divert the old trees from the landfill. Come on out and join us at 10am, you will see the Surfrider tent on the beach at Tennessee Ave.
